Formal maternity dress??

So I just got an invite to a wedding that is formal attire only on March 29, I will be 36 weeks pregnant--any suggestions on where to get a dress?? I have looked online and Motherhood, Destination Maternity and Pea in a Pod all have formal dresses but most are sleeveless or strapless and that's just not me--anyone know where else I could find one??

One option, find a simple black dress, like a 3/4 sleeve wrap dress and make it more formal with some bold jewelry and great shoes/ handbag.

Or, if you don't want to shell out big bucks on a dress you'll wear once, there are lots of options online to rent a dress.  Just google it.  Then, you'll have a lot more options because with the budget you would've had for buying a dress, you could rent a much pricer one.  Good luck!

I was actually thinking of this idea of a simple black dress with jewelry, shoes and handbag--although I'm not sure if I'm going to want to wear anything but flats that pregnant!  So I'm glad others think alike.

Also, to add to what Paula said if you find a dress that is simple black or sleeveless you could maybe dress it up with a fancy bolero or wrap to deal with the issue of sleeveless or strapless...it could add sparkle and be more dressy that way. 

A strapped or strapless empire waist  dress perhaps black or dark blue with embellishments under the breast long and flowing bottom so that it will hide the fact that you are wearing flats

What about TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or SteinMart?

I have tj maxx and marshalls (they are my go to store for a dress) but neither has maternity and at 36 weeks I don't know that a high waisted regular dress would work--I would think the length will be way off in the front
