How much does the Realize band hold

I know that the former standard bands have different sizes . When I went to my first post appt. (I was banded on 5/27/08) I was told that all realize bands are the same. I didn't think to ask how much the bands hold? Anyone know? Thanks, Bren649

REALIZE Band on 06/13/08

Hi Bren. Here is what my surgeon told me......the Realize Band holds 10 cc. He went further to say that the manufacturer suggested filling to only 8 cc but he will only fill it to 7 cc tops. I don't know why or whatever but that is the information I was given...... Hope that helps!

The maximum recommended capacity for a Realize Band is 9cc.

Th Realize Band only comes in one size. And I got this information of the FAQ page.... What is the Realize Band inflated with and how much? Sterile saline solution is used to fill your Realize Band by inflating or deflating the Realize Band through the access port located just below the skin. It holds a total of 9cc. Hope that helps!!
