Hello everyone!

Next week I offically start my liquid diet before my surgery. To ease myself into it, I started the liquid diet for breakfast and lunch, with a regular dinner. So far so good, except at times my face, neck and chest gets really flushed (red & blotchy, like blushing). Has this happened to anyone? Any advice??

Sounds like a food alergy...what type of protein are you using? Are you mixing it or buying it premixed?

Amy,
Please try to find out NOW before surgery what is causing this as you will be drinking plenty protein shakes.I know the new Coke max with vitimins in it causes me to flush. Maybe zinc. I get this flushed feeling then my friend and also my husband said it must be something in the soda.
