Topic: Smoking after root canal treatment

Hey guys, I'm a hardcore smoker and recently I underwent the root canal treatment. Dentists have strictly advised me not to smoke till few months. The life without smoking is driving me crazy and I can't take this anymore. I read an article http://www.centenarydental.com/blog/root-canal-treatment/6-t ips-follow-root-canal-treatment/ which says the tips to be followed after root canal treatment. They haven't cited that smoking habit must be ceased after getting this procedure done. Does that mean that I'm allowed to smoke? What do you guys think?

Stop the med!  If you are swelling or start vomiting you may have a band slip.  Mine slipped and once surgical replaced I was never the same.  I regained all my weight and then some.
