I saw my surgeon for my one year post op visit for my revision.  I have only lost 30 pounds and have  30 more to go  I was hoping for more in the first year.  What's even more depressing is that I was up 5 pounds from 6 months ago!  I'm looking for inspiration!

Hang in there and one day at a time. I find the only thing that really keeps me on track is journalling otherwise I seem to forget thopse odd snacks and things!

Hi Stephanie E, I would like to suggest exercising, and watching your intake of sugar and flour; eat your protein, lots of protein; (pure protein bars are delicious, 20g of protein/bar)you have to remember the surgery is not a quick fix it is a tool and you still have to do some work, not a whole lot but some. exercising will increase your wt. loss and make you feel great in the process. You will be surprised how much wt will come off with just doing these few things. Good luck to you.
