Not typical results (x-post)

It has been a really rough few days, but I'm home now recovering after two and a half days in ICU due to extremely high blood pressures, sugars and low grade fever along with surgical complications due to extensive scar tissue from previous surgery. Fortunately, my surgeon is aweswome and perservered and was able to fix the damage and complete my revision.

The only downside is I am super extra sore.

I'm looking forward to moving ahead on this new journey!

I'm glad they were able to complete the revision! Sorry to hear you had to stay in the ICU I know that had to be tough. I'm glad you are doing better now..Hang in there! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take Care. Good Luck!!

Yeah, the ICU wasn't a lot of fun; I couldn't get up and walk because every time they stood me up my blood pressure shot through the roof and I got really dizzy and lightheaded.  They did have me stand and march in place a few times for about 30 seconds with a nurse on either side while they monitored my heart rate and blood pressure.  

Thanks again, I'm taking it day by day and am just glad to be home! 

So glad you made it through ok and sounds like you have a pretty awsome surgeon. Now your home and your healing will go by quickly. Yippeee, it's all losing weight from here.

 
Thanks, am definitely losing weight, yay, that part is very cool.  Wish I was recovering quicker though :(
