Insurance approved revision!!L
My surgeons office filed with my insurance yesterday for my revision. I can't believe they approved the surgery in less than 24 hours! I should hear from the scheduler tomorrow. Hopefully within the next month I'll be gerd free!
The insurance coordinator couldn't believe they approved my surgery so quickly. I wrote a letter to be included with the paperwork. I just tried to explain what it's like daily living with such severe gerd. My surgeon also wrote a letter as well. The coordinator thinks those letters may have helped them super speed up the process. Plus I have everything very well documented since the original VSG surgery 5 years ago.
Im starting my liquid diet tomorrow so I can get in with the surgeon as quickly as possible. I'm over this pain and discomfort and ready to be done with it once and for all.
