So far, so good. After struggling with lap band for 10 years, I am so grateful for the VSG surgery and to finally have a tool that works. I am on puree foods. I am really sticking to the after surgery plan given to me by the clinic and trying hard not to deviate. It's amazing that I can be satisfied with just a few bites. Today I stepped up my exercise to a fast Walk away the pounds 1 mile. Sure felt good. Clothes are already getting loose. I wanted to share my excitement

Sounds like you're doing great! My revision is 6/20 and I'm so excited yet nervous. I do remember the suffering initially after surgery & don't want to do that again! I just tell myself that is such a short time in the grand scheme of things. Good luck & good job!

I wish you a speedy recover and try not to worry too much about the surgery. The time in the hospital is just a dream to me now. Just make sure you walk and sip. I set a timer for every 15 minutes to drink 2 ounces of water. It really worked for me, I just used my phone. Take care and best of luck!

I am so happy for you. I am in the process of getting approved for revision. I have suffered with my band for 7 years. Really looking forward to having a tool that helps me instead of hurting me so often. Keep up the great work.

I can really relate to that. I am feeling so good, and I am encouraged that this time I know I can do it. Best of luck to you, I hope you get approved very soon.

Isn't it great? My experience has been much the same as yours. I had a lap band for 10 years. It worked to an extent and I lost 62 pounds but those 10 years felt like torture. With the sleeve, I feel restriction without feeling like I want to either throw-up or choke to death like I did with the band. Good luck with your weight loss!

Thanks, Kathy. Your reply was very encouraging, sometimes I feel like wow, this should be going faster, but I have to remember that I was rather on the low end being 213 and keep trying to take it a day at a time. It just helps to know there is someone out there that has struggled with the lap band like I have. I am so happy your weight loss has been so successful and I also feel restriction and I am amazed my only hunger is head hunger....Hope you have a great day! Mary
