My hubby and I went to Sams Club the other day and I tried this zipfizz and bought some. I was wondering what you all think of it.

I am interested, of course because I have been feeling very run down as of lately. And it has Vitamin B12 2500 mcg 41667%, so I was wondering how much of it I would absorb

It has ...
Per (1) CITRUS tube (other flavors vary slightly): Calories 10 - Sugar 0 g - Carbs 2 g -

The "Fizz" part makes me wonder if its carbonated? I wouldn't use it instead of your daily vitamins -but what do I know, I got my medical degree by watching E.R.

I guess it looks alright to me.  Kind of high in sodium for just a water-based drink though.   Also remember that you no longer have the Intrinsic Factor in your stomach that is required to process B12.  So drinking something that has B12 in it, isn't doing you any good.  The body can't process it at all.  That's why we need to use sublingual B12 tablets or have injections that go directly to our blood stream.  Putting anything B12 related into your stomach doesn't work anymore. If you feel run down and tired, then you should get your bloodwork checked to see if you really are deficient in some vitamin.  And if you are, then use a supplement to correct it.  A drink isn't going to cut it for us after surgery. You forgot to include "guarana seed extract" in Zipfizz's list of ingredients.  That means it contains caffeine, which is neither good nor bad by itself, IMHO, but don't kid yourself that the "zip" you get from it is anything more than a caffeine buzz, and a whole lot more expensive!  "No artificial stimulants" indeed.  Caffeine is caffeine, whether it comes from coffee, guarana, or NoDoz pills. There's good evidence that oral megadoses of B12 can be sufficiently well-absorbed, even in the absence of intrinsic factor, to prevent deficiency, though I personally wouldn't give up my SL B12 tablet, which has turned out to provide me much more than I need.  Typical multivitamin doses of B12 (say, 100mcg or less) wouldn't be, but 2500 mcg would be in the "megadose" range.  But that doesn't mean that any "increased energy" you might experience would be due to the B12; it's only due to the caffeine. If your B12 levels are OK already, your tiredness is not due to B12 deficiency.  Giving B12 in the presence of B12 deficiency does not act like a shot of caffeine--i.e., immediately--it takes days or weeks to "feel" any beneficial effect after addressing the deficiency.  And excess B12 doesn't give anyone "zip"; it gives them zip: nada, nothing, zilch. It makes me ill to see companies like this make money by relying on the ignorance of their customer.  "Guarana seed extract", indeed! /Steve
