If it is, I have for the first time, kept beef down my "pie hole"!!!

Since surgery I have had a devil of a time with beef!  Even buffalo makes me vomit.  Today I tried pastrami with some soy and kept it down.  It was good too...so yummy and spicy...

Is it beef or some other by-product?  Just wondering.

Call me crazy - but I have ALWAYS thought it was beef!

Pastrami is a popular delicatessen meat made principally from red meat, chiefly brisket. The raw meat is brined, partly dried, seasoned with various herbs and spices, then smoked.

You got me thinkin - so I googled it- the above is part of the definition. So yep - you did beef girl! have a great day!

It is beef, pork or a combination of both, salted and smoked. Good stuff,  looks like you may have kept some beef down, a wow moment!  I had a pastrami Casadilla yesterday for lunch with DW, she gets the remainder (1 1/2) for lunch today.

P.S. Sorry but I will NOT pay $$ for knockers. I am letting down a couple of Dawns.

Is Pastrami beef?

Hundreds of Deli owners across the country just had heart palpitations.

Watch a few episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network.  Guy manages to work in some pastrami or corned beef about every 2-3 episodes.

Yep, it sure is (typically brisket) and it is my favorite deli meat EVER.  I'm sure in about 6 months or so, I will be able to enjoy some.  In the meantime, have a slice for me.
