Fluttering in abdomen

I been noticing this for about a week. From the breast bone on the left side I get a fluttering feeling. The fluttering lasts 5-10sec and then goes away nothing really exciting (well i was never prego so it was sort of wierd to me). Today the feeling has been coming back a few times an hour. I am not really sure what it is. I have no pain when the feeling comes it just comes feels wierd and then leaves.

Does anyone else have/had this feeling?

It's probably gas, gas can feel like butterflies fluttering in your stomach.

It doesn't happen when you're bending at the waist, does it?

I agree it sounds like gas, which for me did feel a little different with my new "innards."

But I also ended up with a pretty large incisional hernia which i first noticed when I would bend at the waist and it would sort of gurgle and flutter. (Soooo sexy, yes?)

It certainly sounds like you are struggling with some gas attacks.  TO be cautious....have you been sexually active since your surgery?  My surgeon said "NO BABBIES" until I am 18 months post op. (DARRRNN)
The only "fluttering: I felt was when my baby started moving @ about 18-20wk.
Take some Gas-X and if that doesn't help, call your surgeon.

Simple answer, wish I could do more!
Keep us posted!

I took some gas x and just got the feeling again today. I will take more gas x. Not really sure what else to do.

Nope no babies here. I don't have the parts for that. But it would be a nice surprise.

I'm getting it sitting here--I had a stressful night and day today and so in my case I'm chalking it up to stress but it's an odd fluttery feeling. Almost like the pouch is gurgling... Of course my GI tract's not happy either since that's usually what happens when I get stressed--maybe it's a stomach bug?

I think it might be stress. I been having this feeling since Tuesday and have been stressing out about a few things. It did stop for a little bit of time today, but once the stress started up again so did the fluttering. I hope this isn't forever becasue I have a high stress job.

I hope it's your new manifestation of a stomach bug, not stress, since you said you have a high stress job!  I've been running a low grade fever all week so it may be that this is my "stomach bug"  and honestly--I'll take this over puking!
