whew..finally got a date...

well folks i have been lurking here for a while, have responded a bit, have asked quite a few questions..well i finally got a date and boy its a fast one...i finally got my cardio clearance and now things have moved fast..
i have my surgery on april 4th, my pre op consult with dr on march 29th, and my education class on the 31st....they just emailed me the pre op diet and i have to start tomorrow, thank god i have been doing some reading and have gottten a few supplies...
thank god my pre op is pretty ok...i even get to eat on it....but i wont get my full 2 weeks in..
i have to have fasting blood work tomorrow morning and starte the pre op tomorrow...oh well...
i just wanted to give out a shout out to you all and say thanks for the help i have gotten from this board while i was lurking...

i am 49 years old,  i have 2 daughters, ages 21 and 29, i have 3 grandkids...ages 10, 4 and 2....my hope is to one day take them roller skating when i get this weight off...i am down here in sunny florida, where today it is 85, i am about ready to turn on my air conditioning....

as of today after loosing about 15 pounds since dec 10th, i am at 280 now...i hope to take measurements tomorrow

I am having surgery the same day and weigh almost the same as you!  Good luck and I hope you keep in touch.
