Rate of Weight Loss 4 months and beyond?
I am 4 months out, down 89 pounds. My surgeon told me that I am doing great, all my labs look good, and I am only 3 pounds from his goal. (I want to lose 30 pounds more than that). I am really good about my diet, I meet my calories somewhat- I am usually around 800 calories a day now, he'd like me closer to 1000-1200, and I meet my protein goals every day, I get plenty of water, and I exercise 4-5 days a week now. I have had very minimal hair loss so far, I lose maybe 10 strands of hair when I brush & dry it after my shower. I have weeks where I may only lose 1-2 pounds, and then I have other weeks where I can lose 5 to even 10 pounds. I've hit a "mini-stall" twice, once at 3 weeks post-op where I lost nothing for almost 10 days, and once at 2 1/2 months post-op where I lost nothing for 10 days again.
Anyway, for those of you who are 4 months post-op or longer, when did your weight loss begin to "slow" down? And, were there any factors that you feel caused you to slow down, other than time elapsing? Any tips on how to keep up the pace?
Thank you!
Met my surgeon's goal weight of 160lbs on 3/30/11! Reached 130lbs on 5/24/11!
CURRENTLY 120LBS, 9/7/11!

It's funny to me... we all try to compare ourselves with one another on here. But the reality is that we are all different.
Like I'm 5'7" and weighed 283. Now I'm down 82 pounds to 201 in 5 months, but when I read someones post like yours, I feel like I am not doing enough if you've lost 89 pounds in 4 months. I know this isn't a competition, but I always wonder what others do differently from me to lose more in less time.
Does anyone else ever feel this way?? Wouldn't it be nice if we could put our height on our ticker?!?! ;-)
