anyone who has PCOS was your weight loss slower then average after surgery? i mean i know now trying to lose weight on my own is near impossible to lose anything drastic - been there, done that. i am wondering if after surgery my weight loss will be slower then someone without PCOS

I have PCOS and am about 4 months post op and have lost 75 pounds.  I don't think it effects it.

I have it and my weight loss hasn't been slow. I'm almost a year out and I've lost 68lbs-this is without exercising and I eat carbs!

I'm 16 days out and have lost 25 lbs.  I don't think the PCOS has effected the weight loss at all.  I do think that the hormones that were stored in all the fat cells I lost sent me into a bit more of a hormonal tail spin than I expected.  I'm guessing that this was enhanced by my PCOS.

Good luck!

I have PCOS and I am about 14 weeks post op and I have lost 104 lbs, I have a lot to loose. I am on a stall now and I'm frustrated but trying to be patient. I have had my periods regulate, which is crazy. Good luck to you!
