I dreamed I had a Subway footlong on wheat bread and I didn't even have a sensation of feeling full!!! But it sure did taste good in my dream.

Nobody else would or could understand why a dream like this could be a nightmare for me!!

Have a great day,
Carly

Right after my surgery, I had horrible dreams like that. I always dreamed about eating foods that I shouldn't (especially for such an early stage). These dreams really scared me. I was wondering if they were a glimps into the furture, but they wern't. Thank goodness!

I feel your pain. For the last week whenever I dream it's about food and eating it and forgetting that I had the surgery. So in the dreams I freak out that I am going to get sick or dump. I can't even dream about food in a healthy way now, lol.

I had a dream like that only when I woke up, I was next to the cat's litter box.  Go Figure.

I dreamed last night that I was defending my garage from a vampire attack.  Since surgery, my dreams haven't been about food, but they have been frightening and vivid...VERY vivid.  Atleast the insomnia has stopped:)

FIVE

FIVE DOLLAR FOOTLOOOOOOONGS

Oh I get you!

I remember when I was newly moved to purees, I had my 2 oz meal and stopped at about 1.5 oz..... didnt' really want to fini**** Wasn't bored, but just didn't think I could stomach another tiny bite.

At the same time, I was craving a footlong

WTH?

Why, if not hungry, was I hankering BADLY for a footlong? WHY????

First of many revelations..... I was craving the feeling of BEING STUFFED.... it wasn't the food itself, it was the sensation of being stuffed.

I broke down and cried.. I was NEVER EVER EVER going to feel full like I did pre-op and darn it all, I wanted my old stomach back!

That's funny. I woke up last week after dreaming that I had consumed a whole chocolate cake, boxes of chocolate, ... I couldn't stop myself and it felt so real. When I woke up, I was still have asleep believing I'd eaten all that.
