So yesterday i was prescribed zoloft 25mg. I tootk the first one about 4:30 yesterday and my tummi was a lil upset for a bit and then it went away...last night was my neices birthday so i went to my brothers house for dinner with them...I ate tuna which i have eaten a lot before and never had any issues with it, however i used their mayo which was the hellmans with olive oil. After maybe 3 bites i couldnt eat any more. after about 10-15 mins i was in the bathrm feeling like i was going to get sick....i did puke but it was more foamies than anything else...Now im not sure though what caused it...would the olive oil in the mayo do it or was it the zoloft? Im kinda afraid to take the zoloft now b.c i really dont wanna feel like that again!

I take 100 mg of zoloft and it does not affect me that way. I have been taking it for years, though...

It could be the tuna. In the beginning I could eat it for about a month or two then it started making my pouch upset. I no longer eat it and after 5 months of trying to eat poultry and fish I gave up and have been a vegetarian ever since (see my eating plan in my profile).

While it could be a number of things, I tend to lean towards the mayo.  I tried the mayo with olive oil and was sick as a dog for hours.  Just a thought.  I would continue to take the zoloft though or speak to the doctor.

You hadn't had that mayo before?  I would blame that not the meds or the fish.

25mg is a low dose of Zoloft (100mg seems to be most common), so my guess would be the mayo...

Eventually, Zoloft side effects may occur and if these cause you any discomfort, immediately see your doctor. Early prevention and safety precautions can avoid untoward incidents. Nausea, dizziness, physical pain, skin allergies are among these side effects.
