I found liquid Calcium at Costco! and...its calcium citrate..yay.

Tastes like a blueberry yogurt smoothie.

is this as good as the calcium chews? if so this sounds a lot better to me then taking 6 chews a day where i would only need to take that one and a half times per day

From what I understand, liquid is much better than a chew because the chews are normally calcium bicarbonate, and you really want calcium citrate.

And for the original poster, thanks for the tip!!! I am just getting started on my journey and when you guys post these suggestions, it really helps me! Thank you!!

there are several brands of calcium citrate chews, they aren't all carbonate

I thought that the reason we had to take calcium in three dosages is that we absorb only about 500 mg at a time...I would LOVE to be able to take the liquid....hate swallowing 6 calcium pills a day....any thoughts??

acb..I hadn't heard that before, but if that's the case then just take half an oz. at a time-twice a day?

I skipped the tablespoons and just used a measuring glass the size of a shot glass (thanks Mom!) to measure out my 1 oz.

Again..it tastes great!
