Calcium

At my one month follow up appointment my NUT said that I need to have 1500mg of Calcium Citrate per day.

My question is, can I take 750mg twice a day or do I have to take 3 separate doses of 500 each?  If there a certain amount of calcium that the body can absorb at one time?

You really need to take it in three doses or more.... the body has trouble doing anything with more than about 500 mg at a time.

It's around 500, maybe 600 mg at a time.  So you do need to divide it into three doses.
