Bloody vomit

My sister had Roux N Y laparoscopically on Tuesday and got out of the hospital yesterday.  She cannot keep anything down, even water and meds, and when it comes back up it's like blood colored.  Not bright red, but dark and watery.  Yesterday the doctor said he thought it was just washing out the wound when she drank.  But it's still going on.  Has anyone else had this experience?  I never threw up with my surgery.  I'm afraid she's going to get dehydrated.

This should not be discussed here; contact her doctor. Dehydration doesn't take long to be dangerous.
