resistance bands can they be used in the pool?

does anyone know if you can use the resistance bands in a pool? i just bought some from wal mart..they are not to of the line, but they were $17 for a set..i have a pool was wanting to know if i can use them in the pool? i am hoping to get released to get in the pool tomorrow, i am just 2 weeks out, but my incisions are totally healed and pealed, with just a little scab on each of them...just a small one..

my trainer gave me some an i asked if i could use them at the pool he said it would be great idea.. just hook them to the ladder or something..  i got the hand ones and ones for the legs,, an both would work in the pool.. my dr wont let me go til next week. my incissions are healed im 3 weeks out but lil scabbing so he wants mt to limit my pool time for 30 mins to avoid any chance of infection.. well good luck!!

We use bands in the pool all the time during water aerboics.  They are very good for resistance training!  Make sure you rinse them off though each time you use them.  The chlorine can cause them to break down.

Yes to the bands, but sorry, the Dr. may not release you just yet, especially if it's a public pool. I was 5-6 weeks before I could use a public pool Risk of infection is high...
