Why?
I am so frustrated! I had my surgery on 3/7/11. The first two weeks I lost about 20 pounds....NOTHING SINCE! I keep going up and down between the same 5 pounds. I only weigh myself once a week, naked, first thing in the morning. I know that a stall is normal/ expected but for how long? I thought my body would have adjusted by now and the weight loss would have started again. I'm drinking about 80 oz. of water per day minimum. I get a minimum of 60 grams of protein a day. That's including a protein shake because I end up making myself sick if I try to eat more at a serving or eat more frequently. Ideas, advice, explanations????

I lost ONE pound in week two
I did NOT lose in week THREE
I did NOT lose in week FOUR
I did NOT lose in week FIVE
I did NOT lose in week SIX
I did NOT lose in week SEVEN
I did NOT lose in week EIGHT
And after that I lost a bunch the next week
I lost SOME the next week
I did NOT lose the week after that
I GAINED the week after that..... then I lost a bunch the next week and continued to follow this pattern until the end of month 12

I chased my dreams, and my dreams, they caught me!

My weight loss really took off when I made sure I got at least 100 oz of water a day and 100 grams of protein a day. It sounds like a lot (and it is) but it is 3 protein drinks a day along with my food. In the morning I have protein decaf coffee, in the afternoon I have one scoop of Body Fortress strawberry, 16 oz of water and a stick of Hawaiin Punch Lemonberry and before bed I make either a shake or hot protein drink. I haven't had any problems with being hungry, either.

Thank you for the replies. I'm ok if this is all just part of the process. I just keep getting worried that I'm doing something wrong and that's why I'm not loosing. I could probably recite my booklet from memory because I have read it so many times looking for something that I might have misunderstood.
