And I really hurt!  I am fairly certain it is gas, I can hear and feel it rumble around in there.

So.  A couple of questions...

How do you mix a protein shake so that it isn't full of bubbles?

I  am really tempted to put on a "belly band" to help support my middle.  I'm still pretty distended and want to walk around a bit, but I feel pretty hunched over.

Thanks!

I couldn't tolerate shakes for a good while once home - maybe premix the shake and let it sit for a while for the bubbles to settle. Also, walking like your life depends on it, even when you feel like just laying there is SOOOO essential!! Helps with the gas, feeling better, etc. Welcome back!

Welcome to the losers bench!  The pain will get better every day.  Did they give you a binder while in the hospital?  I definitely found it helped to "hold me together" and made me much more comfortable.  Remember to rest, walk and sip!  Oh, and I used Gas-X strips for the gas.

okay, just walked 1/4 mile on the treadmill.  Will go back later and do some more.  I put on my old belly band from when I had my c-sections.  Why I kept it? Who knew I'd need it again?  Seems to help feel more supportive.  I can feel the gas bubble around in my middle, I hope I can get rid of it soon!!

Thanks Everyone!
