Hard to believe it's been two years already....
Here I sit on my two year anniversay of my RNY and what am I doing? Cooking and eating... LOL Yes I ate some cookie dough and two cookies, but I made sure they were in my plan. I have lost about 150 pounds and had a little bounce back weight, but I think I am pretty steady where I am and I feel great. My blood pressure is normal, my cholesterol is down to 140 from 299 and I haven't had one high blood sugar since the day of surgery. So I feel like it was all worth it, I have so much more fun in my life now and no longer struggle with all the things I did before WLS. I can run, walk, jump, and play. I can wipe my ass without doing contortions to reach all the necessary parts and best of all, I can do things with my kids and my husband that before I stayed on the bench and watched from the sidelines.
Kelly,
I'm so happy for you.

These are all the same reasons I had WLS, and it's been everything and more. It's not about the number on the scale, it's about our health and how we feel and what we can do that matters. You have so go this.
Congratulations on your 2 years! Thanks for all your help in my journey.

That's why I took my ticker off and removed the goal from my signature. I may never reach it, but that's not what's important to me anymore. Living life is.
