so according to my plan i'm at the stage where i can introduce all foods that are high protein, under 10g of fat, less than 5g of sugar. only thing i haven't tried yet is raw vegetables other than some raw spinach. i have been too scared to try lettuce even though i can. my cousin had the same surgeon but had a different nutritionist back then, and didn't eat raw vegetables until farther out, i wanna say either 3 or 6 months i can't remember. however cooked vegetables i've had

anyway if anyone has ideas what i could cook with chicken. i've made pecan crusted chicken and almost crusted chicken. i can eat about 2-2.5oz of it with no issues, so far no issues at all with chicken. i am just out of ideas. if anyone can share recipies or link me to good WL friendly chicken recipes i'd greatly appreciate it.

I also found this site and the recipes look pretty darn good too. (I am REALLY sick of full liquids, have been on them for almost 3 weeks now, 2 weeks pre-op and 2-3 weeks post op)

Crock pot!!!!  I put chicken in the crock pot with cream of chicken soup or cream of celery and cook all day.

Look up crock pot recipes.  They are the moistest and easiest.

1/2 Cup EVOO
1/2 Cup Vinegar
4 TBLS Chicken seasoning
1 egg

Mix this together and put in a baking dish.  Add chicken (this should season about 12 to 16 oz)
Make sure you puncture the chicken with a fork several times or pound it flat so the flavor reaches the inside

Let this sit in the fridge overnight

You can either bake this in the oven till done (seasoning and all)
Or...BETTER...put it on the grill

This is a family fav!

OR

1 bag of frozed home fries with onions and peppers
1/4 C cajun spice
2 Cans fat free cream of chicken soup
1 - 2 chicken breasts boiled or steamed
8 oz Shredded cheese of choice (I prefer cheddar)

Mix everything but the cheese in a 9X11 pan and spread out evenly.  Top with cheese.  Bake in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes and serve
