Need 2 week Liquid Diet assistance

Hello all,

I had surgery on Monday and am currently on two weeks of liquids. I plan on calling my NUT tomorrow for clarification, but am hoping you guys could also assist.

My surgeons dietary guidelines are linked below. My question is if you were allowed pureed soups during this phase? Or is it clear liquids only? Nowhere on their guidelines does it say clear liquids only that I can see, but then then next phase is soft foods.

I am easily getting in my liquids and protein. Just curious what your guidelines were... Thanks!

This is not clear liquids - it includes nsa carnation instant breakfast, tomato soup, protein drinks, etc.

However, I don't think it includes pureed anything.  It doesn't say pureed anything.

It looks more like full liquids, although I don't see yogurt on it.  But it looks like your plan goes from full liquids to soft foods and skips pureeds.

Looks simliar to what my program calls full liquids. I can have strained cream soups made with milk. I can also have sugar free pudding and yogurt..

Your program looks mostly to be clear liquids, but the tomato soup is throwing me off...

I was going to put a separate post about the NUT classification but since you brought it up: When I called by Dietitian a Nutritionist she got very offended and said that a Nutritionist doesn't necessarily have any qualifications and you or I could begin practicing as a NUT tomorrow without any formal training where as a Dietitian is someone with an actual degree and accreditation. Now I am Cedars Sinai so I know I am getting top of the lien but I assume that most of you out there have Dietitians as well and not NUTS. Correct me if I am wrong. I think I will post  this separately as well.

I was on full liquids for 2 weeks post op and had to strain all my soups. Pureed soups weren't allowed until the next phase.
