Seems expensive, but is it okay in moderation?

See my reply in the other trhead.  It would appear that the "biopeptide" nonsense is their way of getting around having to advertise them as the crappy collagen protein!

Yes... and the primary problem with aging skin is the breakdown of collagen over time...

I assume because she doesn't know any better.  Some nutritionists are not registered dieticians and have little training or education.  Some registered dieticians have little training or education in bariatrics.  They sometimes tell patients to take the wrong calcium, the wrong iron, the wrong vitamin D, all kinds of things.  I assume they just don't know any better.

Yes, I know how you feel!  It really ****** me off that these companies advertise them as being good for WLS patients who are taking them thinking that they are getting enough protein in.  It is a shame that so many "nutritionists" don't know any better, but many of them do not.

I had three BOXES of the New Whey bullets that I had to throw out 3 years ago when I found out what was in them!  I lost a LOT of my hair (half of it), despite getting in all of my protein from day 1 (thanks to a gastric tube for several weeks), but I used one of those bullets/shots every couple of days during the first couple of months, which means that I was probably not getting ALL of the my protein as I thought on those days.  No way to know for sure if that contributed to the hair loss, but still.
