I know everyone is different and no one's recovery time is the same, but just in general.  If you have had the "panni" (tummy) surgery about how long were you off work or unable to do routine things.

THank you,
Teresa

I am interested in hearing some feedback here too.  I still have to wait a little bit before actually doing it, but I am seriously considering it.

Thanks,

I was off work 2 weeks. but still had one drain in for 2 days AFTER I went back to work.  I had very little pain after day 2 or so except for right at the ends of the incision (it hurt at the ends because when you bend of stretch it pulls at the incision endpoints on your hips.  I was able to do everything I needed to do within a week.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I had the panni and a major hernia repair.  It was the easiest surgery I have had thus far.  I had three drains, two were taken out after about a week, the other was in another week.  I was not working at the time but felt good after just a few days and could have gone back if not for the drains.

I had a tummy tuck at the same time.  Forgot to mention it earlier.

I had a full LBL & brachio and was off for 4 weeks. When I had my thighs and breasts done I was only off work for 10 days.

You can see in my sig line what all I had done 3 weeks ago.  I went back to work in 2 weeks, worked 2 full days & then was off 3 days.  Last week I worked all week but feel like it took it's toll on me!  I was so sore yesterday I could barely move tho.  Have to say tho that my thighs are whats causing it, not the LBL/tummy.  For me, they said 6 weeks before routine things can be done, but I had alot more done than the panni.
