What does it feel like if a pill is stuck??

I am wondering if someone can tell me what it feels like if a pill is stuck? I am having a little bit of discomfort feels a little bit like acid reflux but not as bad. Very lightly. I have done nothing but drink eat my meals and chewed well and took my meds.

If your pill was stuck you would definatly know it. For me its had to explain the feels but it is not definatly not comfortable. almost like a vice grip has closed the opening. but there is nothing "light" about the discomfort.

Oh it hurts so bad!! For me it was a super sharp pain and I couldn't catch my breath. It was painful enough I have not tried swallowing a whole pill since. I don't ever want to feel that again. It lasted for quite a while and then after my pouch was so irritated I had a hard time even drinking for a long time after.

Happened to me today! I was at work helping a customer and sure enough my stomach began to lurch and then my mouth began to salivate! I tried to drink some water and breath but no luck! I ran to the bathroom and upchucked! Worse feeling yet almost 3 months out !

 For me - it feels like a heart attack.

I stopped taking my swallow-pills because of this.

I now take chewable neuro meds like a kid.

I am confused by this, as I too stopped swallowing pills and was told NOT to swallow pills EVER, unless it's a year or two out and it's a very small capsule (which dissolves). I am shocked at 3 months out your swallowing pills. I probably think by now your issue is resolved, but I would hope, after this,  you will rethink your method of getting in your meds.

Yep, I was told the same thing.  Don't swallow pills EVER.  I take several pills but I crush them.  It's not pleasant but it sounds like much more fun than getting one stuck!
