Strange back pain

This is going to sound stupid but I thought I'd get some info from everyone here :)

For the last 2 days whenever I have to burp or feel gassy I get a pain in my back in between my shoulder blades. It's very weird. The pain is up way to high to be my gall bladder so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this before?

It could be that my back is just bothering me and when I burp or whatever it bothers the sore muscles but I never had this pre-op. I'm 3 weeks out so I'm thinking any residual gas from surgery must be gone by now right?

Simethicone will be your best friend. Make sure you keep moving. It is probably just the gas build up. I still get it every now and then if I sit still too long. You'll be alright.

I had that BAD for weeks 1-4. Gasx daily, if not multiple times a day and it still wouldn't go away, nor was the gas really abating out either end. Then I woke up one day on week 5 and the pain was gone. It had been chronically painful around my bra strap in my back. Only had that pain once since, right before my 6 week follow-up. My surgeon said just to monitor if any symptoms change but most likely was gas and/or constipation. Just keep yourself regular, make friends with Gas-X, and keep monitoring your symptoms.
