Nonfunctioning Gallbladder!!

I had my RnY 2 1/2 years ago. I am going to have to have my gallbladder out soon. I do not have any gallstones but the question I have is...did anyone have hot flashes while you were waiting to have your gallbladder out? I have intermittent extreme pain but I cannot really say that the hot flashes happen only when I am in pain. They are happening more and more often. I have not had a problem with hot flashes since I lost the weight so wonder if this is what is causing it Please help...
