How long did it take?

Consult was June 2010, started with the testing, psych, etc finished that up in November, was approved by the team for surgery in October as long as I hadn't developed an ulcer. Surgery was finally scheduled the week of Thanksgiving, for January 11, 2011. So it was 7 months and some. But I'm glad, because it gave me MUCH more time to get ready!
