preop blood work and liver enzymes?

Has anyone had their preop blood work and their liver enzymes are completely normal, not elevated all but still seem to have a really fatty liver? Did your surgery has to be postponed or did the surgeon have to switch an open RNY instead of lap???

MANY of us had fatty liver pre-op.  That's one reason so many surgeon's recommend a pre-op diet (many just liquids, others different plans) to shrink the liver and to give yourself a headstart by decarbing and not having post-op carb withdrawal (headaches).

Edit:  Sorry didn't answer your question, I had lap surgery my surgeon said my liver had shrunken significantly.  It is a possibility that surgery can be converted to open from lap.
