Success with a couple protein bars!

I gave up protein shakes, except for no carb protein water, because of gas issues.  Once I stopped them, no problems.  I wanted to try a few kinds of protein bars, so I could have something available when I am on the go, or just really hungry and don't feel like making something.  I ordered a few samples online and felt pretty successful!

Vitalady's double peanut butter bar:  15 grams of protein.  Has a very nice smooth chewy texture, not grainy at all.  Very yummy, strongly recommend.

Quest nutrition:  Tried one of each flavor.  Very dense, not too sweet.  Feels like eating "food", real chunks of nuts.  No added sugars, 20 grams of protein.  Good for a meal, not really a snack.

OH YEAH chocolate peanut butter sticks:  comes with 2 cookie like wafers, each one about 105 calories 8 grams of protein.  Did not feel like chewing a cookie, more dense/not melt in your mouth, but is a good replacement for just "gotta have something naughty"!

thanks for the recommendations. I also like the powerbar Protein Plus (29g protein but if your REALLY sensitive to sugar alcohols it may be on the high side for you) I like them because I feel like I'm "cheating" and eating a candy bar without it being way to sweet tasting. I also like the premier protein bars that are 30g Protein and come in three flavors in a case of them at Costco.

Premier protein bars have great nutrition - 30 gm. protein, very low sugar, and under 200 calories!

Does anyone know of a protein bar that does not contain any dairy (non-whey)?
