Just wanted to share....
I just cleaned out my drawer of 32 and 34 size shorts and capris, because I discovered, just 7 weeks (barely) after surgery, the drawer full of size 26 shorts and capris that I have had stashed in the bottom drawer of my 3 yr old son's dresser since I was pregnant FIT again!! YAY me!! 15 pairs of new 'bottoms' ... some still have tags on them!! Whoo hoo... I can put off shopping a little longer, I guess! Yay!
This discovery has led me to start cleaning out my closet... gone are the now too big 5X tops that I'm swimming in and I'm finding things that I've held onto cuz they were some favorites, 26's and 28's fit again... things I haven't worn in 4+ years... whoo hooo! It's like having a whole new, yet familiar, wardrobe, it's great!
My surgery is next Tues and i only have 3-4 outfits that I can wear right now and have refused to buy any new clothes for the past year knowing I was going to have WLS. When my uncle died a few months ago I had to break down and buy a pair of slacks and dress top and it about killed me to do that!! Oh well!! Will be someone else's treasure soon. I have a full closet of clothes that dont' quite fit and look so forward to fitting into them again...at least for a while! ha ha But less I have to buy as I become the incredible shrinking woman over the next few months.

WOOT! Isn't that that BEST feeling?!
Get ready for a whole lot more experiences like that in the coming year or two!
And don't buy too much in any one clothes size "on the way down," because you may be amazed at how quickly you fly through some sizes!
Congratulations!

Sorry, I don't know what I did to the last post to delete it...whatever. Anyway, that is so fantabulous!! I highly recommend that you don't keep the old ones. I have an old suitcase I keep in my room that I put too big clothes in as they get so big they look sloppy. When it's filled up, I'm gonna donate or clothes swap them. Then, start filling it up again! You go girl and it just keeps getting better and better after this!!
