Beans tonight for dinner
4 weeks out yesterday RNY. Didn't eat dinner last night because I was full from eating spinach at lunch, and taking all my meds last night. Haven't eaten all day today because I'm still feeling full and constipated. Drinking water, water, water and broth. I'm feeling like some pinto or kidney beans for dinner tonight, and hopefully that will help with the constipation. This is horrible! Any suggestions?
"DON'T EAT IF YOU'RE NOT HUNGRY!"
Right... if I got that advice I would not eat for months...
Thankfully my nut was smart and told me that I NEED to Eat or drink proteins in order to stay on track and keep losing weight.

Probably the worst advice you could have gotten. One of the effects of the surgery is that you will not have physical hunger for 12-18 months on average.
Your concerns should be PROTEIN then Water. Not taking in enough protein will cause your body to revert to it's internal protein stores also called MUSCLE. Your heart is a muscle so yes not enough protein can cause serious issues. Also by not getting enough protein you will lose more lean muscle mass, if this happens that 30 pounds you lost isn't all fat.
Not Cool.
60g of protein is the recommended minimum.
