painful hemroid??

im only 35 and have alwalys had a prob with constipation..yesterday my rectum started hurting and increasingly got worse to the point where i had to go get preparation h! i used it last night and this morning with no relief..had to take xra strength tylenol..any suggestions would b most helpful..so much pain and itching

could be a hemmroid, but it could also be an anal fissure.  Hopefully the situation is temporary, but if it continues I would recommend talking to your doctor about it.  I am finally feeling normal in that area after months of pain.

When my flare, which isn't often thank goodness, I find that sitting in a hot tub of water brings some relief.

Keep them surgically clean and keep the Preparation H going, and this should take care of it within a few days unless it's something more serious than just a flare-up.

anal fissure nitroglycerin ointment and tramadol..ouch..was down for about 4 days..increased fiber..lactulose..stool softeners..jeez..thanks for ur feedback ladies
