I have been an inspiration to a coworker and he is going to have the RNY surgery in September. This is a great moment for me as I was him a year ago. It feels so fantastic help somebody else make this commitment to the rest of their lives.

That's great. It must feel really good. I'm happy for him. :)

I am the "guinea pig" for my best friend and her husband for this surgery. She is following my journey closely to decide if she will do it. She is close to 400 lbs and she wants it really bad, but she's scared. I think I'm helping her feel better about it because I am having such a good experience.
