Thinking about a bucket list for the next year...

For so long I avoided doing things I might normally of been attracted to, but didn't because of my weight. It's only been 3 months since surgery, but I already feel this weight has literally been lifted off me. I have energy for the first time in years ... yes, I realize some might be from the hormone release in stored fat tissue ... but I have energy. Pain from arthritis in my knees is virtually gone. I can walk at least a mile without stopping and getting short of breath. Would like to say without sweating, but I live in south Louisiana .. and that won't happen.

Now about that Bucket List... While not a thrill seeker, I loved being active. There are 3 absolutes I want to do in the next year ....

1. Take that trip to Italy I've been delaying ... and hike through Tuscany
2. Bungee jump .. now that I am close to falling in the weight limits to do so
3. Zip Line.. I'd love to say in Costa Rica but that won't fit into my budget. Think it might be in Park City, Utah...

What's on your list?????????/

Oh, I love this idea!!!! I need to think about it but maybe... a spa weekend in Taos; a beach holiday in Aruba; running (really running) a 5K; shopping trip to NYC; and a million other trips to- Japan, Spain, Tahiti, China, and the list goes on... I think I need to be more than a week out to make a list but it's such good motivation! Thanks! I love Tuscany, btw...sounds like a great trip, too!

I have already made a dent in my bucket list such as returning to school and working on my degree (I have my first year done now). But things I haven't gotten around to yet but know there is plenty of time are as follows:

1.) Ride a horse or mule into the grand canyon
2.) ride a roller coaster
3.) start auditioning for community theater and now that I have relocated to a new state with a pretty good size film industry I want to try doing some 'extra' work.

I'm seeing a recurring theme here.. and it all includes activity. I am just so thankful/grateful to being blessed with this chance.
