catching a cold

my surgery is aug 10 my son is catching a cold what happens if i catch a cold do you think they'll still do surgery?

Ask your doc.

If you DO catch a cold, any coughing you have to do is going to be somewhat more painful immediately after your surgery.  A trick I learned was to back up against a wall and clutch a pillow to my midsection before I coughed, sneezed, or even cleared my throat.  It worked wonders, as long as I had time to prepare.

As hard as it may be for you.They may cancel if your sick.Trust me you dont want a bad cold with this surgey.My son had a cold the week of my surgery.I brought germ--x with me in every room.I didn't get it Thanks God!I hope he feels better.
