Needle like pain in lower part of stomache!
I've been having this pain in the lower left side of my stomach and OMG! It's no fun! It feels like a thousand needles sticking me at the same time! On my first followup visit to the surgeon I told him about it and he said it was because they had to put a hole in that lower part during the surgery and it will probably be a few weeks before it completely heal! Well, this morning, getting out the bed that pain hit me something hard that I was calling on Jesus! My husband had to help me get out of bed into the bathroom.
Has anyone ever had that needle like pain before?

If it seems to be getting worse and it's so bad you need help getting around, I'd call the surgeon back or go to the ER. It might be what your surgeon said, but if that's the case it seems like it should be getting better, not worse.
