3 month Supervised Diet??? Check!
I had my fourth and final appointment with the dietician supervising the 3 month diet req'd by insurance so they'll cover my surgery!
It went really well. Lost 5.6 lbs this month bringing my total lost since May 6th to 29.2 lbs! Only 0.8lbs shy of my goal. I feel really good about myself. I worked really hard to take off that weight.
Now the real challenge... staying on this road even though I know there will no longer be a dietician scrutinizing my food/exercise journal next month. I want to continue losing or at least maintain this loss until surgery date.
The most exciting part about the end of my supervised diet is that as soon as my dietician faxes her dictations to my surgeon's office (which she said she would do today), they have everything they need to submit my paperwork to my insurance company for approval! I should know approved/denied within a couple of weeks!!! I finally feel like I'm getting closer to my surgery date which has still yet to be set, but EEEK! :D I'm so happy and excited!
