Scope tomorrow Need HELP

Well, I'v been on the carafate for a week now and it's not working. The pain is there even when I eat or drink now. haven't had much to eat for the past 2 days and i'm having a very hard time even getting 20 ozs down for fluids. Has this happened to anyone and if so, what did you do to get your fluids in?

Honestly whenn I had my stricture, there was just no way of getting anything down, so I ended up in the hospital dehydrated and needing a banana pack.

I hope they are able to resolve everything tomorrow when you get the scope.

I had to be admitted to the hospital as well.  It turned out I had two ulcers at the anastimosis site.  It took 8 days in the hospital and 8 weeks on TPN, but I am finally feeling so much better.  If you can't get any fluids down or food, go back to your doc!!!
