pain in shoulder joints??
I"m 7 months post op, for about the last month, I've been having alot of pain in my shoulder joints. I can't figure out what the problem is. It affects both shoulders. I haven't injured them or done anything strenouos to cause muscle pain. it hurts when I go to bed at night, sometimes keeps me awake or wakes me up from a sound sleep. it also is very painful first thing in the morning, I can hardly raise my arms up over my head, then it eases up though out the day but starts all over the next night. is there any type of vitamin deficiency or anything that would cause joint pain? any other ideas?
I had the same thing! I thought it was my rheumatoid arthritis, but I wasn't sure. I couldn't even lift my left arm above shoulder level. About a month or so ago, I discovered my Vitamin D level was quite low. I started taking Vitalady's Vitamin D3 50,000 units once a day about 3 weeks ago. I'm going to get my level checked again soon. Believe it or not, my shoulder pain is all but gone, AND I'm able to lift my left arm up over my head! You might want to speak to your doctor about Vitamin D and have your level checked.
Hope this helps! :)

I began taking Bromelain which is a natural anti-inflammatory.... it has done wonders for this type of pain. 1500mg daily. Good luck, Lisa
