Is anyone else thinking of becoming a vegetarian?

I started to have that problem too, then we discovered that we were in the habit of over cooking everything. When we started using a cooking thermometer every time (the type you leave in and has an alarm when temp is reached)  started working less to chew so it tasted good again. The worst one was fish, everyone I have met overcooks fish because the line between done and overdone is very thin.

Yes, you will be able to chew less when you are further out BUT you will still have to chew more than you did pre-op.  Your taste buds can change again in a a few months too - then you might like it again.  Until then, switch to a different type of protein.

If I had to slaughter my own meat, I would be a vegetarian. I cant even buy some raw thawed meats.. it make me gag.

I my recommendation is to try chopping and dicing your meat into small bites or I used to put it in the blender to chop it up in the being..

Now, I still cut all my meat in small bites.

Since having surgery, I eat very little meat.  Sometimes I go days and days without any.  I no long care for it.
