Any way to prevent strictures?

It looks like I am going back for another EGD to see if I have another stricture. Is there anything that I could be doing to prevent them?

Unfortunately, no. It's just your body "over healing" where the pouch connects to your small intestine. It heals so much that food can't get through the opening. Some people do need to have it dilated several times.

Oh Tracy, I'm so sorry you are still having a hard time. Guess you'll be back in my neck of the woods. Let me know if you need to sleep on my couch. I'd give you a bed but we don't have an extra one. What a trial for you to have to travel so far for this. I wish you luck on this one.
