Help! 1st time sick post op

I'm 14weeks post surgery and came down with a pretty high fever last night (of course during the hurricane). Temp hit 102.7 which is high even for me. I don't have any other symptoms except my back huts from lying in bed for 24 hours. I did have the shivers and shakes but Tylenol brought my temp down a bit. Should I be concerned that it is something worse?

Ps did just have my 3mo post op visit and my labs were good...

Any and all advice appreciated. Will be calling my pcp in the am.

You may just have caught a virus or something. It may not be related to the surgery at all. Do you have any other symptoms other than the fever n a slight back ache?? It's a good thing Tylenol is bringing your fever down. Hope you are feeling better soon. If not, you should go to your PCP.
Good luck,
Jamie
