What are you guys using to get rid of the incision scars?

I've been told to get shea butter but I think that's just for the dryness.  I've seen pics of OH members who have reached their goals and they are wearing swimsuits (two piece) or short shirts and not a scar in sight.

What are you guys using to get rid of them completely?

I don't personally care about my scar, I am far too modest for a 2 peice regardless of size. But I have some leftover target brand maderma so I have been using that, well when I remember anyway

I didn't use anything.  I have one scar that is really visible.  It's the one in the middle.  It didn't heal very easily.  It leaked a lot of fluid for a while.  The others just pretty much went away on their own.

I am 6 months out and you can't really see my scars unless you look closely. You certainly wouldn't see them in a picture.

Kelokote works very well for me.

I did nothing for my lap RNY scars. They disappeared to the point that I cound not even see them after about a year. For my lbl/bl scars, I am using cocoa butter lotion, vitamin e oil, maderma, and silicone strips. Not sure any of that really works, but I'm trying. Thankfully my scars are thin and low from my lbl so even if they do not fade all the way they will not show if I wear a two piece or low-rise jeans.

I'm super fair and my scars are dark red so you can really see them hopefully they fade over time and if not hopefully my tummy tuck will get rid of a few of the 6 of them!  I'm not too worried about it though.

Oh dang scars happen...

I just had a tummy tuck June 23rd.. got rid of all my old scars... was a pretty tummy... till August 2nd when emergency life saving surgery took place... that's right 6 weeks after my tummy tuck (which is probably how the original scars disappeared for the other users) I had 4 new holes placed in my new belly... so much for pretty...

I just use cocao butter and vitamin E lotion at the request of my plastic surgeon on all my scars  (I have breast scars now too)...

scars are just the flags of honor we carry for having lived a life!
