Frothing last night!

Oh boy did I have a bad experience last night......I had some cheese grits with a scrambled egg but what I didn't do was make sure it was soft and had a lot of water in it to make it easy to go down.  It was actually like how I use to eat it which was clumpy. After a few bites I started experiencing aching in my pouch area and feeling like something was stuck in my chest and pouch before I knew it I was throwing up .....frothing!

For those who don't know what that is, it's when you are throwing up a lot of saliva and it's in a frothy consistency.....I guess in a way it's still considered dumping, just that you aren't dumping food.  We learn the hard way.

Not necessarily dumping. More like what people here call "the foamies". Just sometimes food gets stuck, especially more dense food. However, what you ate didn't sound particularly dense, just maybe you ate too quickly or your system just didn't want to cooperate at that moment. Take it easy for a day or so when you get stuck or have the foamies b/c your body may not want solid foods for a hot second or won't cooperate.
Dumping doesn't always involve vomiting or poo issues - it's more to do with insulin dumping in your system after high sugar/high fat food. Has alot other "classic" symptoms, that don't have to do with digestive upset.

Yep, not "dumping", but "Stuck" and "the foamies"!  Letting it come back up was the best way
to get quick relief.

"Dumping" is a lot different, and you'll definitely know that when it happens!

Good luck.
