Excellent!  I'm glad you updated us on how you're doing.  And now you know you can do it.  And you're practicing tracking your calories and protein.

What did you do to deal with stress instead of eating?

Keep up the good work!  Discipline is the hard part. Like eating 6 Mike n Ike candies.  If we could only learn moderation for all things this process would be a lot easier. Stay focused on your goal!

Kelly - I used music therapy and played an addictive computer game to deal with the stress and it gave me something to do so I wasn't rummaging through the pantry for something to eat.

When I felt hungry I drank water instead of instinctively going for a snack. I had my SF Jello when the water wasn't working and I threw the protein bar in to boost my protein. I probably could have done without it otherwise.

I also got out of the house for a few hours yesterday which was helpful.

OK.  So now you just have to remember these things and that you know they work for you.

What music do you use?

I am a lover of a wide variety of music. Yesterday I was in a country mood and was using Pandora.com. It was right on point yesterday playing a lot of good songs that got me grooving and singing instead of thinking about food! :)

Country is usually good because you can sing along easily, I think.  And if you're singing along, it's kind of hard to think about anything else at the same time.
