stomach muscle

how long does it take for your stomach muscles to stop being sore? im 3 and half weeks out and i noticed the more im moving around the sore they get .. and the coughing doesnt help either to i suppose i got pneumonia after surgery too

Just curious, did you have open surgery or lap?

I don't know what hurts on me. My rib cage area as hurt ever since I had surgery.

I don't have an answer for you, sorry. I'm only 14 days out and I'm still kind of sore.

I had surgery a week after you, lap. My pain is pretty much gone. I would suspect you might be having residual pain from both the surgery and the pneumonia. As a life long asthmatic, I can attest your chest and stomach muscles hurt for a while after any kind of nasty lung illness.

I had surgery on 8/11/11 and I have no pain at all in by stomach. I think you need to call you Dr.
the coughing could be making it sore, but better safe that sorry.
